Vaudeville Park hosts two unique nights of chamber music by the composer collective “Circles and Lines” as part of an innovative classical crossover into the 2011 College Music Journal Festival.

Part house concert, part sound installation, IN HOUSE is a collection of new musical meditations on the idea of “the home” written and performed by the members of experimental music ensemble thingNY. The premiere performances of IN HOUSE will take place during June 2011 at various homes in the New York City area.

Join us Saturday Evening for cocktails and champagne at the closing party for April Sky, and a talk by our Artist in Residence, Theresa Bloise.

Theresa will give a slide lecture about her work at Vaudeville Park on Saturday, April 30 at 8:00pm. This presentation is co-sponsored by Artists & Audiences Exchange, a public program administered by NYFA with leadership support from the New York State Council on the Arts.

Circles and Lines is a new composers consortium dedicated to providing an eclectic and accessible sample of compositional styles in contemporary classical music. Its members include Angelica Negron, Noam Faingold, Conrad Winslow, Eric Lemmon and Dylan Glatthorn.
